Beautiful Crochet stitch|Open Work Crochet Stitch

Here’s another beginner-friendly beautiful crochet stitch pattern. It is one of the easiest stitch patterns to learn and make. Only 2 basic stitches required to make this pattern. Use this stitch for making a scarf, triangle shawls and tote bags.

Yarn: Sirdar Snuggly 100% cotton DK

Hook Size: 2.0mm

sc     __  single crochet

tr      __  treble crochet

*count skipped ch as 1 sc.

Foundation chain:

For making chain flower you have to make a chain that is multiple of 6 plus 1 stitch.

Make a chain of 26 stitches.

Row 1: skip 2 ch, make 1 sc in each st across the row. (24 sc)

Row 2: ch 1, 1sc in next st, “7 ch, 3 sc in next 3 sts” x 3, 7 ch, 2sc in last 2 sts. (13 sc)

Row 3: ch 5. 1sc in 4^th ch of ch 7 in the previous row, ch 4, 1 sc in 2^nd sc of the previous row, “ch 4, 1sc in 4^th ch, ch 4, 1sc in 2st” x 3. (8 sc)

Row 4: ch 8, 1sc in 4^th ch, 1sc in next st, 1sc in 1^st ch, “ ch 7, 1sc in 4^th ch, 1sc in next st, 1sc in 1^st ch” x 3, ch 3 1 tr in last st. (12 sc)

Row 5: ch 5, 1sc in 2^nd sc of the previous row, ch 4, 1 sc in 4^th ch of ch 7 in the previous row, “ch 4,  1sc in 2^nd st, ch 4, 1sc in 4^th ch” x 3. (8 sc)

Repeat the sequence from row 2 to row 5.
