Good day ladies. I was thinking to make another doily in one of my favourite colours. I am recently sharing many designs of doilies because I love making them. This star crochet doily is also an easy project. You can make our pretty star crochet doily while following our free pattern. The star crochet doily pattern consists of basic stitches. You can also do variations as well.

Instructions for Star Crochet Doily
Ch7, sl st in first ch to create the base ring.
- Round 1: Ch2, 15 sc into ringSl st in 2nd ch at beginning of round.
- Round 2: Ch3, hdc in same st, ch2, sk 1 st, *[2dc in next st, ch2, sk 1 st] repeat * 7 times, sl st in 3rd ch at beginning of round.

Let’s call rows 23-31 as section A.
Then find the diametrically opposite section. Then also find the beginning of round 22 in this section. Here attach your yarn in the first ch5 sp of round 22.
Repeat section A in the same way, from here.
This completed section is called section B. A and B are diametrically opposite to each other.
Now we will be working in a round once all around the doily to create clusters and picots. This will be round 32.
- Attach your yarn in the first ch5 sp next to section A (i.e. at the end of row 23).

Finally you reach the beginning of section B.
