Pineapple Doily| Step by Step Pattern

Hello Crafters, How are you all doing. I wish you all are enjoying good health and also having high crochet spirit. Today, I was thinking to share a special pattern of my pineapple doily. We improved this pattern by making a new version of chart. Old one was illegal to use.

Although doilies are difficult to make but final results pay off all efforts. The specialty of pineapple star doily is that you can use this as a table runner as well as a doily. Our pineapple star doily is made with very basic stitches like chain stitch, slip stitch and treble crochet, in addition you can find chart. Pineapple star doily pattern is also a beginner friendly pattern. Because you just need to master basic stitches for this.

Pineapple Doily Pattern:

Materials :

• Yarn: any 100% cotton yarn |weight: DK ( about x balls)
• Hook Size: 2.0 mm

Pattern written in US terms

Abbreviations:

• Ch: chain
• St: stitch

• Ch4 at the beginning of round counts as tr
• (17A), (25B), (33C), (37D), (49E) and (52F) are spaces/stitches where new yarn is attached after cutting and weaving in ends.

Instructions For Pineapple Doily:

• Round1: Ch12, sl st to first ch to create base ring. 

Ch4, 29tr in ring. Sl st to first ch at the beginning of round.

• Round 2: Ch6, *(tr, ch2) repeat * 29 times. Sl st to first ch at the beginning of round.

• Round 3: Ch5, sk st, *(4tr in ch sp, ch1, sk st, 4tr in next ch sp, ch1, sk 2 sts) repeat * 9 times, 4tr in ch sp, ch1, sk st, 3tr in last ch sp. Sl st to first ch at the beginning of round.
  
• Round 4: Ch4, 2tr in ch sp at the beginning of round, ch1, 3tr in same ch sp, *(3tr in next ch sp, ch1, 3tr in same ch sp) repeat * 19 times. Sl st to first ch sp at the beginning of round.
  
• Round 5: Ch4, 2tr in first ch sp, ch1, 3tr in same ch sp, *(ch1, sk 6 sts, 3tr in next ch sp, ch1, 3tr in same ch sp) repeat * 19 times, ch1. Sl st to first ch sp at the beginning of round.

• Round 6: Ch4, 2tr in first ch sp, ch2, 3tr in same ch sp, *(ch2, sk 6 sts, 3tr in next ch sp, ch2, 3tr in same ch sp) repeat * 19 times, ch2. Sl st to first ch sp at the beginning of round.

• Round 12: Ch4, 12tr in first ch sp, ch6, shell in ch3 sp,

• Round 13: Ch5, **[tr, ch1] repeat ** 9 times, tr, ch6, shell in ch3 sp,

• Round 14: Ch4, **[sk st, sc in ch1 sp, ch3] repeat ** 8 times, sc in ch1 sp, ch6, shell in ch3 sp,
