Hello Crocheters, I hope you all are doing amazing and enjoying this weather change. I was planning for a delicate pattern that’ll be easy for beginners. So here is the result of my effort. Once again it is a coaster pattern because I love to crochet coasters. I named this pattern a spider web coaster, as it looks like a delicate spider web. Save this pattern for later. Share this spider web coaster pattern with other crocheters and show your love.
Pattern written in US terms
Abbreviations:
- Ch: chain
- St: stitch
- Sk: skip
- Ch sp: chain space
- Sl st: slip stitch
- Dc: double crochet
Special stitches:
- V-st: V-stitch — dc, ch1, dc
- p: picot — ch4, sl st to 1st ch
Pattern notes:
- *( ) – repeat the following instructions the number of the times indicated.
- The pattern is worked in rounds.
- Ch3 in the beginning of round counts as dc.
Instructions for Spider Web Coaster:
- Begin with a magic ring.
- Round 1: Ch3, 17dc in ring, sl st to 3rd ch at the beginning of round.
- Round 2: Ch3, *(ch6, sk 2 sts, dc) repeat * 5 times, ch6, sl st to 3rd ch at the beginning of round.
- Round 3: Ch4, dc in same st, *(ch4, dc in ch6 sp, ch4, V-st in dc) repeat * 5 times, ch4, dc in ch6 sp, ch4, sl st to 3rd ch at the beginning of round.
- Round 4: Ch4, dc in same st, *(ch6, dc, ch6, V-st in ch1 sp) repeat * 5 times, ch6, dc, ch6, sl st to 3rd ch at the beginning of round.
- Round 5:Ch4, dc in same st, *(ch7, dc, ch7, V-st in ch1 sp) repeat * 5 times, ch7, dc, ch7, sl st to 3rd ch at the beginning of round.
- Round 6: Ch4, p, ch1, dc in same st, *(ch8, dc, p, ch8, dc in ch1 sp, ch1, p, ch1, dc in same ch1 sp) repeat * 5 times, ch8, dc, p, ch8, sl st to 3rd ch at the beginning of round.
